Atlas generates a reorder recommendation when a SKU’s projected days of cover drops below your configured safety stock threshold, accounting for supplier lead time.

How the trigger works

Atlas calculates days of cover using current stock divided by average daily sales velocity over a rolling 30-day window. When projected days of cover minus supplier lead time falls below your safety stock threshold, Atlas surfaces a reorder recommendation in your Awaiting You queue.

Configuring thresholds

In Inventory Settings, you can set safety stock thresholds per SKU or at the category level. You can also set a maximum reorder quantity that triggers an approval requirement — reorders below the threshold execute automatically; reorders above it require your sign-off.

Acting on a reorder recommendation

Each recommendation in your Awaiting You queue shows the SKU, current stock, projected exhaust date, recommended reorder quantity, and estimated cost. You approve, adjust the quantity, or defer.
