Every Artifact widget and folder carries a status indicator that reflects the freshness of the data it contains.

Live

A Live widget is connected to the underlying data source and updates automatically on a defined refresh cadence. The widget header shows the last updated time. Live widgets reflect the current state of your campaigns, inventory, or reviews.

Snapshot

A Snapshot widget captures data at a fixed point in time and does not update. The header shows the date and time of capture. Use Snapshots when you want to preserve a reference point — for example, campaign performance at the start of a new budget period.

Outdated

A Live widget becomes Outdated when it has not successfully refreshed within its expected window. This can happen due to a broken data connection, an API rate limit, or a sync delay. The widget header shows the last successful update time and an error indicator. Hover the indicator for details.

Converting and refreshing

You can convert a Live widget to a Snapshot (freezes current data) or trigger a manual refresh on an Outdated widget from the widget’s header menu.
