# Agent Chat

> Direct conversation surface for each agent. Ask questions, request analysis, give instructions — with the agent's task panel in the right rail.

Each agent has a dedicated chat surface accessible from the Office or left nav. Agent chat is conversational — ask questions, give instructions, request analysis.

## Right-rail panel

Shows the agent's active task, backlog, items awaiting your input, and recent activity. Collapse it with the panel arrow for full-width chat.

## What you can do

* Ask the agent to explain a recommendation or data point
* Request specific analysis (spend breakdown, inventory coverage, competitor comparison)
* Give a new instruction or change the agent's current focus
* Pin any data output to an Artifacts folder
